Wishing Star * When you wish upon a star *

I accepted my fren, Vivien, invitation to the City Harvest Church (CHC) Easter celebration last Sat, 22 Mar 08 at Singapore Expo Hall 1, 5:30pm. I attended the service along with my precious and dajie.

It's my first time attending this type of service and i'm glad i did, cos they really put up a very good drama. I really enjoyed the whole service which starts ard 5:35pm to 5:45pm and ends ard 7:45pm. You dont really feel the time passed cos you are really enjoying every moments of the drama. The actors/actress are really good. In short, the story goes about a man life. He created a device that can bring u back to the good/bad memories in your life. The device also brought this man back to 2000 yrs ago during Jesus time, but no one can see this man. He saw how Jesus perform miracles, how Jesus disciple denied him and all the way when Jesus was being cruxified on the cross - it was very real ! You can really feel the pain Jesus is going through. Touched my heart....

The message behind the drama is - forgiveness, cos his wife bertrayed him, had an affair with his best fren. Then at the end, Jesus finally spoke to this man, asked him to forgive his wife. If he dont let go, he will not live his life well. So at the end, this man forgave his wife and they get back together.

The sermon was easy to understand. I like one sentence the pastor said - it's a relationship that you are building with Jesus and not a religion. The pastor talked about forgiveness, very simple and easy to understand. He said if we cannot forgive the ones who did wrong to us, we will have bitterness in our life and we cant live our lifes well. I think this is really true.
